To all who have been reading up until this point, or even if you're just reading this email: thank you, and I appreciate you. This was the last full week of my mission. From being set apart as a missionary on Sep. 26, 2022, to going home for two weeks on medical release in between the MTC and the field, to being here today—all in all, it's been the greatest opportunity and experience I could possibly have asked for. This past week was busy as always, and we saw a lot of miracles. We were able to teach a part-member family where the mom really wants to come back to church and help her daughter learn the gospel. We're seeing miracles from our friends who watched General Conference. There's a ton of potential in this area. I'm a bit sad to be leaving, but I know God definitely has a plan for the people here, and the work will continue. Another fun thing that happened was that my branch president asked me to speak in sacrament meeting. He didn't know when he asked t...

¡Bueno, bueno! Espero que todo está bien con ustedes! Big week with conference and with the second-to-last weekend in the mission. High stakes, but high rewards. We biked all over town telling everyone we could about conference and getting them all set up. Saturday and Sunday, we had some rainstorms try to get in the way, but not even pouring rain and mud everywhere can stop the Lord's work. Before I get too far, the title quote comes because of the experiences we had helping people tune in to conference. Each and every time, we invited them to listen to their feelings and the Spirit to find the truth in what was being said. Quite honestly, Saturday and Sunday were two of the most tiring days of my mission. Biking up and down town in the rain and mud to help people watch, all while the conference was going on. We didn't get to watch very much of conference live because we were too busy locking in everyone else. (Don't worry, we'll go through all the talks to listen to a...

If you read last week's email, you understand the title. If you didn't, that's OK because you're reading this one! What you need to know is that we're going until the buzzer sounds. It was a really fun week, full of biking back and forth across town, inviting people to church, locking them in, extending baptismal dates, and introducing them to members. It tired me out, and I ended up getting a stomach bug that slowed us down for one of the days and drained my energy for a few after that. We’re all good, though, and I made a recovery just in time to help four of our friends come to church this week! Definitely a blessing that God magnified our efforts, even with things holding us back. We had locked in six, but we'll get them—and more—next week for conference. It's truly incredible (but believable) that God has helped us find people and families that are truly ready and willing to change to more fully follow their Savior. Juan is really looking to change for ...
