What'd We Do Now Sheriff?
Howdy, mi gente. ¿Cómo fue la semana pasada?
Much to say, little time to say it. Así que pasa la vida a veces, especialmente la vida misional.
Email title quote is real simple: I got myself a western/Mexican cowboy hat today. I'm quite happy with my purchase.
The biggest thing from this week was working with our friend Christian, who's getting baptized this Saturday. It's been awesome to see his desire to meet, make changes in his life, and grow closer to our Father in Heaven. He came to basketball and then Book of Mormon study on Friday, and he loved it. He also loved Elder's Quorum on Sunday and is getting fellowshipped with the other guys there.
I also got to go to the temple this week with the zone and a couple of other zones. It was amazing to be able to go through the temple again, and especially to feel the peace that comes from being in the House of the Lord and remembering the covenants we've made.
I also had interviews with Presidente this week, which were edifying, uplifting, and fun as always. I also received a piece of good news that I'm sure some of you will find interesting (and maybe a bit surprising). A few weeks back, I requested a mission extension of another transfer (6 weeks), and Presidente told me that it had been approved by the missionary department! I'll now have 6 more weeks to serve as a missionary of the Lord Jesus Christ, and I couldn't be happier. Still don't for sure know why I felt to extend, but I do know that God has a plan for each of us, even when we don't see the whole picture.
Thanks, as always, for your constant prayers, encouragement, and support. ¡Les amo!
Onward and Upward!

Last week's email: "What about level zero?"
Movie: Kung-Fu Panda - Po says this to Master Shifu after he's asked where he would like to begin. The Kung-Fu Panda ironically knew no kung-fu at that point in the movie.
