I Find Your Lack Of Faith Disturbing
¿Qué dice mi gente? Espero que estén bien.
Hard to believe it's been a whole year since last Star Wars Day; it absolutely flew by. There's your hint for the title quote this week.
It’s been a bit slower of a week, and I got a little sick, which, as my fellow missionaries know, is the worst. Luckily, I was back on my feet after a day and able to grind it on the bikes.
Our homie Damien is prepping for his baptism this Sunday, and we’re meeting with him at his member friend's house tonight. Should be hype.
We also found a lady named Lupita who's been taught by missionaries in the past. Without getting into too much detail, she's been going through a lot lately and is really looking for the peace and protection that come from the gospel of Jesus Christ and the gift of the Holy Ghost. We dedicated her house and promised she would find these things through baptism, so she's getting baptized here soon! Prayers up for her and her daughter, things have been difficult for them.
Last email of the transfer, and I'm most likely leaving. Where to, I don't yet know; we'll find out tomorrow night and head there on Thursday!
I know that a little faith truly makes all the difference in our lives. Even if it is only the size of a mustard seed or even just a desire to believe, the Lord can and will work miracles. As President Nelson said, it's not the circumstances of our lives but the focus of our lives that makes all the difference and brings us joy.
Thanks for all the well wishes and support!
Love y’all,
Elder Teeples
P.S.
The mission address is now 300 W Trenton Rd if you want to send me letters or things and are awesome like that.
Also, if you want your email on here taken off, changed, or anyone added, let me know!
Last week's email:
"Amigos! We're all amigos!"
Movie: Toy Story 3 - Woody says this to Buzz after Buzz gets set to Spanish mode and asks if they're 'amigos o enemigos' (friends or foes)
