Just Keep Swimming
Lots of rain this week. Biking through it was probably the closest I could possibly get to swimming. Despite getting home soaking wet at night, we had some pretty good days and found some cool people.
Transfers happened; I stayed, but surprisingly, my companion Elder Quinn left and I got Elder Shakespeare. Felt a bit bad for him coming into the bike area in the rain, but all in all, it's going well and starting to clear up.
This week we also had a super awesome lesson with our friend Rodrigo and his friend Ananías, where the spirit was super strong, and they accepted a date to be baptized. They're two guys in their mid-twenties who really want to grow close to God and find peace in their lives. Definitely keep them in your prayers.
We've continued working with our friend Gally and fasted with her on Sunday that we can help her in her situation and find a way forward and toward baptism. I know the Lord will provide a way, even if it is difficult.
Not much more time, but I just wanted to share something I learned/thought this week. The commandments, while sometimes difficult, truly solve and prevent the needs we have in this life. So often we see them as boundaries, when in reality, they're solutions and steps out of the trials of life.
Love you all and appreciate all the love and prayers. Know I'm staying safe and working hard!

P.S. - Thought this sent earlier, but just saw it didn't. I'll do better next week.
Last week's email: "Pitstop."
Movie: Cars - Guido says this after he quickly changes Lightning McQueen's tires faster than ever before and gets him back in the race.

Soaking wet at dinner.
Stopped at this bakery to use the restroom, and one of the owners gave us free pastries.
