He'll Keep Calling Me, And Calling Me
After all of our efforts and calls paid off, because our friend Rodrigo came to church and really liked it. The ward really helped him out and went the extra mile to talk to him and help him feel comfortable. I definitely think it helped him a lot, and it's going to help him in the long run and really help him on his path toward being baptized.
The weather this week was definitely better (not more swimming through the rain and coming home soaked). We found some cool people and got a nice build-up going in the area.
Unfortunately, our friend Gally wasn't able to make it to church this week, but we'll be following up with her and focusing on extreme efforts to really stop any doubts before they come up. Keep her in your prayers this week.
A fun thing that happened this week was we helped some inactive members move, and they gave us four bags of clothes, most of which were new. We got to go through it and get some pretty nice stuff. I now have like four new pairs of pants, some really nice polos, some golf shorts, a Champion hoodie, and some nice new t-shirts. Definitely a win.
Just want to end by saying that in the ups and downs of life, Christ really is the constant and the true fount of peace, truth, and love in all we do. Turn to Him, and you'll get through any doubts, issues, or shortcomings.
Love y'all,
Elder Teeples
