You're Not Invited To My Birthday Party!

Had my birthday this week, oficialmente tengo 20 años. No puedo creerlo.

Sorry, but seeing as you all weren't here and I was doing missionary work, I unfortunately couldn't invite you to my birthday party. It all went well, though, and overall it was a pretty good day. Shoutout to Ruby, one of the members, for getting me a cake.

We were able to help our friend Noe come to church this week, as well as his family, who are members and are coming back to church again! It's so cool to see how Noe's desire to be baptized is able to have that impact on his family and help them once again receive the blessings that come through Jesus Christ and His church. Things are going well with Noe, and he's getting baptized in two weeks! So hyped for him.

Another cool thing is we were able to visit another part-member family and teach their daughter Emma. She remembers a lot and is super excited to get baptized as well! She eagerly asked her parents if she could become a member of Christ's church and if they could all go back to church. Her parents and the rest of her family are cool too and are ready and willing to come back to church. It's so amazing to see how much joy and eagerness Emma has. She even has her family doing scripture study again!

We have also been teaching a guy named Frank, who is a single dad right now and has been going through some difficult times as he cares for his children. Despite all this, his outlook on life and trust in God are constants in his life. We've been able to teach him and help him understand the gospel and grow his faith in the Savior. He can't get baptized right now due to some other circumstances, but I'm so happy that we're able to help him prepare for it and for his desire to follow Christ's example one day.

If I've learned anything on my mission, it's that everything is in God's timing and that God's timing is perfect.

¡Se amo mucho!
