I Love My Mama!

First things first, Happy Mother's Day yesterday to all the moms and future moms out there. Especially, Happy Mother's Day to the woman I'm blessed to call my mom. Love you, Ma.

Being away is hard, but it also truly reminds me of why I'm out here and how truly important this work is. I saw evidence of it this past week, as I have throughout my whole mission. As we've found and taught the Restored Gospel of Jesus Christ to families, they've seen the blessings and the unity that come from being truly centered on Christ.

This past week, we've started teaching the family of an inactive member who truly wants to come back and for his family to experience the joy that he knows comes with the gospel. As we taught them about modern-day prophets and apostles, his wife was very interested and excited to hear about how they speak to us to lead and guide Christ's church today. As she recognized the importance of this, the Spirit was so strong. It was such a great experience to be a part of.

For those of you wondering, the total number of crashes this week was... zero!! I'm getting better and stronger, and have done much better on my bike. Part of this is that I figured out that, for some reason, my shocks had been locked, but I was able to grease them up and unlock them all the way. Definitely helps. Gonna give myself 2 points for not falling this week. So, as of right now, the score is: ground: 3, Elder Teeples: 4.

Elder Bodner and I have been able to find so many cool new friends this week and have seen the fruits of our hard labor begin to pay off. I know that when we put forth our full effort and give everything to the Lord, He will provide. It won't always be immediate; I've definitely had tough weeks where I worked as hard as I could, but I do know that the Lord has a plan and timing for all things and for all of us.

Never forget that. The Lord knows you and has blessings and paths lined up for you. He will never forget us or leave us.

Miss you all and wish you the best! Vaya con Dios!!

Pics:

Jumped onto Elder Bodner while he was on the beanbag, and then Elder Hansen jumped on both of us.
Doofy the cat (his actual name).
Our neighbors had a rat infestation, and we had to help them move. One of them got stuck to a sticky trap.
Military stuff a random dude we met and taught gave me.
Ripped a hole in my pants climbing onto my bike. (I sewed it back up though.)
