The Hardest Tasks Require The Strongest Wills

I barely have any time to write this email, but as the title says, we gotta push through.

I didn’t feel the best this week—felt kind of sick and had trouble getting to sleep—but somehow, I was able to work the entire time! Truly a miracle to receive the strength to continue and do the Lord’s work despite my trials and weaknesses. I wasn’t completely healed, but I didn’t need to be, and God gave me what I needed.

I’ve also been able to see that while we may not have the success we’re looking for, we can still follow the Spirit and help others in the way God needs us to. I’m humbled to have had the opportunity to meet the people I know I needed to at exactly the time they needed it. The only possible explanation is that God leads us to where He needs us.

Sorry this email’s so short. I needed some rest today and then spent a good amount of time serving some Elders in my zone by shining their shoes for them. It just makes me so happy to help in any little way I can and show them the love I know the Savior has for them and for everyone.

Love y’all so much. I promise a more in-depth email next week (but not a novel, don’t worry).

Sincerely,
Elder Teeples

Last week’s email:
"All protein diet, but also doing carbs"
(Movie: Pixels—when asked if he’s been working out, he says he’s been on an all-protein diet but is also doing carbs. Meaning he’s not dieting at all, haha.)

Pics:

Candy cigarettes I found
Metal buffalo
Reese’s Puffs minis and peanut butter
Super cool sunset
A really scary, spiky tree (it just doesn’t quite seem real)
